Expedia – Book hotels, flights and holidays online

Expedia is a wholly-online holiday and travel business, one of the new breed of holiday operators that has sprung up over the past decade or so. Expedia includes a nifty search facility that lets you narrow down your choice of hotels using criteria like swimming pools, spas, balconies and air conditioning. We like that – it’s helpful and saves us loads of time faffing about reading hotel descriptions. Another plus; when you book an Expedia holiday they let you pay a deposit up front and pay the rest later. Good if you’re on a tight budget. And helpful if you’ve decided to save up the good old fashioned way… you can book a good deal up front and still have plenty of time to fill up your piggy bank.

Expedia – Build your own holiday

You can create your own holiday with Expedia using their cool booking tool. You might just want to hire a car. You might want to book a hotel and a flight, but that’s it. Or you might want to book the whole caboodle in one place; flights, airport parking, transfers, hotels, car hire and activities. No problem. It’s nice to be able to be so flexible; well done Expedia. Another way… plumb in what you’re after and the Expedia search facility will return a list of the best value flights, hotels and car hire. They even let you spilt the cost of your holiday over two credit cards. And they don’t charge credit card fees. Wahay.

Expedia – Post your comments on site afterwards

Expedia guarantees that when you book all the different bits and bobs of your holiday through them, it’ll be cheaper than if you’d booked them separately. So if you’re prepared to invest the time hunting around their site for the perfect deal your efforts will bear fruit. Once you’re back from your holiday, you can post comments on the Expedia site and let everyone know about your hotel, flights, holiday experiences and the service you got at Expedia itself. This is a really good place to go if you’re a committed online shopper who’s happy to put in a bit of keyboard-work in the interests of a really good deal.
